01The challenge
One workforce.
Two disconnected experiences.
Construction teams needed a clearer way to move between office planning and work on the jobsite.
The legacy application had slow rendering, cluttered screens, and navigation that made routine tasks difficult. The manager and crew applications also lacked a consistent experience, so moving between devices meant learning different patterns.
The brief was a full revamp of the product, from design through implementation, built around the needs of project managers, superintendents, back-office staff, and fieldworkers.

A shared design language connects WorkCove Manager for iPad with WorkCove Crew for Android and iOS.
Make navigation familiar
Use consistent interface patterns across the manager and crew applications, with predictable paths to jobs, schedules, tools, and records.
Modernize the application
Rework the implementation alongside the design to address the legacy product’s rendering and responsiveness issues.
